So, what's your take? We need more cat dads. 100% agree. More cat dads all the way. I have two cats and they're the loves of my lives. We are in a masculinity crisis in this country. I feel like men don't know how to be. Men are too manly. They don't know if they should be too manly or if they should be softer or like how to behave in the world without getting like judged or cancelled. And I think that cat dads are a really good model of how to be.
So, you think a cat comes into a man's life and it changes the man for the better? Yes, because they're choosing the pet who's not going to greet them at the door without them doing anything for it. They have to work for affection. They have to learn their little signals and like what they like and don't like. And also like respecting boundaries and being patient and like accepting you for how you are and like if it's a little chaotic, you just kind of got to deal with it. The cat can teach the man just based on how a cat has this personality that's kind of like a woman. I agree 100%. I woke up one day and I said, "I need to become a better person. My life feels empty and worthless." I was in a deep-seated depression. Couldn't get out of bed. Went on the internet, found cat. And did it make you better? Yeah, it worked really well. I'm married and have a baby now.
