Guys and girls cannot “just friends” | Agree or disagree?
Summary
A straphanger declares that guys and girls can't be just friends, and she's got the receipts. Biology guarantees someone wants more. She's witnessed it firsthand: boyfriends with "close" girl friends always end up crossing the line. Her theory gets specific: "The minute you start sending memes, you're out of the friend zone. A meme is sex." Kareem watches as she offers to be friends with anyone watching, then immediately catches herself backtracking. They both realize they've just proven her own point in real time.

What's your take? My take is that guys and girls cannot be just friends. 100 percent. Agree. It's just—it's a tale as old as time. We know this to be true. It's never ever happened in the history of the world that a guy and a girl—someone might say, "Oh, we're just friends," and but really deep down, because of biology, one of them wants—they want to have sex. In a situation where I had a boyfriend who had a girl that was like a really close—no, we're just friends—it always ended up that they're not just. They always boink. The minute—the minute you start sending memes, you're out of the friend zone. A meme is sex. I wish that if anyone's watching this, I—and as a woman, I would love to be your friend, right?
Yeah, that's a nice job. That's a nice olive branch. As long as you don't ever try to—we're friends, we're friends. That's that's true. Oh my God, did we just prove our point?
